The Post-Victorian Woman's Guide To Reckless Flirtations

Jamie-Sue Seal

Vintage and contemporary, retro and reckless. It's a little Jazz, maybe Cabaret, a bit of Blues, and a whole lot of humor. It's a confessional...a themed story from front to back and I'm the one telling it. My first record in 12 years & I had a ball. xo, js.

Six new original songs written by Jamie-Sue, three cool tunes composed by Bottle Rocket Cabaret duo partner John Latini, and a sassy one written by Smokin' Sleddog Records label mate Siusan O'Rourke plus four other classic covers. Jamie-Sue was especially pleased to welcome John Latini, Siusan O'Rourke, Sally Potter and Jim Latini as guest performers. Dug Grieves, Dow Tomlin, Steve Holland, Dennis Wage and Bob Delaposta were the primary players. Engineered, mixed and mastered by Nathan R. Smith at Mainframe Recording Studio, Nashville TN. Additional recording at Big Sky/Ann Arbor MI (Geoff Michael), Glenn Brown Productions/Lansing MI (Glenn Brown) and the White Crow Conservatory, Saginaw MI (Zig Zeitler). Artwork by Eric Signs at Digital Active/Bath MI.
